Terms of Service

1. What this is

YouTube Scheduler Bot (the Telegram bot @Clippingnewschedulebot and its calendar app) lets you queue videos and have them uploaded to YouTube channels you have connected, at times you choose. It is operated by an individual as a personal project, free of charge. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to YouTube, Google LLC, or Telegram.

By using the bot you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it.

2. Your account and your channels

• Connect only YouTube channels that you own or are authorised to manage.
• You are responsible for everything uploaded through your connection, exactly as if you had uploaded it yourself from YouTube.
• Keep your Telegram account secure. Anyone with access to it can queue videos to your connected channels.

3. What you may upload

You must have the right to upload and publish every video you queue. That means you own it, or you have permission from whoever does, or your use is otherwise lawful.

You must not use this service to upload:

• content that infringes anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights;
• content that breaks the YouTube Terms of Service, the YouTube Community Guidelines, or any Google policy;
• spam, scams, malware, or content posted to artificially inflate metrics;
• content that is illegal where you are or where it is published.

You use YouTube through this bot on the same terms as you would use it directly. Nothing here grants you rights that YouTube does not.

4. Availability, timing and limits

This is a personal project running on a single server. It is provided on a best-effort basis:

• There is no uptime guarantee. The service may be unavailable, restarted, changed or discontinued at any time, without notice.
• A scheduled post depends on the server being reachable and on YouTube accepting the upload. Posts may go out late. An overdue post is sent at the next opportunity rather than skipped.
• Google enforces a daily upload limit shared by everyone using this service. Once it is reached, further videos stay in the queue until the limit resets, rather than being uploaded.
• Videos are held on the server only until they are uploaded. Keep your own copies. Do not treat this service as storage or as a backup.

5. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service or the server it runs on, and do not use it to interfere with anyone else's use of it.

6. Suspension and ending your use

You may stop at any time by disconnecting your channels, which also deletes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Access may be suspended or removed at any time, in particular where these terms are being broken or where continued use puts the service's own access to the YouTube API at risk.

7. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. No promise is made that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular video will be uploaded at any particular time.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, videos, views, or goodwill, arising from your use of this service, from a video posting late, from a video not posting at all, from a video posting when you did not want it to, or from any action taken by YouTube against your channel.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Your data

What is stored about you, why, and how to delete it is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top of the page changes with them, and continuing to use the bot afterwards means accepting the new version.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
